Strategies Designed to Ensure You're A Step Ahead

Target Audience:  Management team

Duration:       120 minutes

Brief Synopsis:   Emotional intelligence (EI) impacts every aspect of our lives and until the 1990s, we didn’t know much about it until researchers found that 90 percent of an employee’s performance effectiveness is attributed to how well one manages their emotions and workplace relationships. This research was a wakeup call for organizations.  All business, government and nonprofit sectors and are faced with constantly changing environments and demands. Managers must deal with rising levels of ambiguity and pressures to perform and innovate, while balancing operational needs, stakeholder expectations and shrinking budgets.  Managers are asked to be both strategic decision makers and masters of the “soft” skills required to effectively manage people.  These soft skills are rarely taught in school.
